Our God-given mission is to evangelize and thereby produce Saints. We strive to provide the supernatural grace of the Sacraments which God gives in and through His One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church; to preach, teach and live the Truth regardless of its popularity or lack thereof; to encourage all men to be fully, faithfully, joyfully and unapologetically Catholic in all aspects of life; and to bring about, through the Mercy of God, the conversion of sinners and the salvation of souls.

A chapel veil can bring about modesty in dress in more ways than you might have thought!
This video was produced by the diocese of Manilla. I wish we would have thought about making it!

Eye-opening news about the HHS Mandate and its supposed accommodation. See the blogs from our United States Conference of Catholic Bishops here:
Might I suggest especially reading the February 6 and February 13 blogs. These are things everyone needs to know about the Mandate and its falsely reported "accommodation." Also, the March 9 blog shows how the Amish have actually been exempted but not the Catholics. How sad there is so much anti-Catholicism among government officials and even, dare I say, among Catholic voters who put them into power.

Yes, we are looking for good voices to fill our church with sung prayer.
Can't sing? Who told you so? Your children? Quit listening to them. They would be embarassed by your voice even if you were Frank Sinatra. Our choir director, Sandra Lau, can get the best out of you. If she tells you that you can't sing, then you can forget about it! Wednesdays at 4:00 pm ages 9-18 Wednesdays at 7:00 pm, adults Blessed are the Piecemakers. The Piecemakers will be learning to sew in the Parish Center on various dates, please check the church schedule or bulletin. Open to those age 13 to 18, we will be teaching them this valuable skill. Both boys and girls will love it. Still Needing Prayers!
Needing prayers! Courtney, pictured to the left with her mother, was in a bad automobile accident Friday night, November 18. Please click on the "facebook" button at the top right side of the page (or click here) for updates. You do not need to have a facebook account to get on the parish page.
Courtney sings in our children's choir and at the 6pm Sunday evening Mass.

The Vortex, March 19-23 had a topic that is rarely discussed even in church. Masturbation. Just bringing it up in a homily always sets people off--some say it shouldn't be mentioned with small children around. Others don't believe it is a sin. Click on the image to the left so view the first episode. You should be able to find the others with succeeding dates at that site.
This week long series from RealCatholicTV.com might help anyone dealing with this sin (and it is a sin, no matter what anyone might have told you) or it may help parents explain to their maturing children what it is and how to fight it.
